1Background
The legacy of tenor saxophonist and 15-time Grammy winner Michael Brecker is a marvel. He loved the company of musicians and especially aspiring young saxophonists. In recognition of Michael’s generosity, and to assist in providing ballast to deserving careers, the MBISC was created.
2Concept
As an international saxophone competition, MBISC needed a web application that enabled competitors to submit demo files and easily apply. We were tasked with bringing MBISC’s in-house designer’s vision to life and developing a platform to drive applications for the competition.
3Results
With their new website, MBISC fielded hundreds of applicant submissions, awarding eight young saxophonists the opportunity to perform at the Red Sea Jazz Festival. After the contest, their website was the perfect platform to announce contest winners and prepare for next year’s competition.
